Why are Panda bamboo socks so comfortable?

Panda Bamboo socks contain 80% bamboo fibre. To create the world's most comfortable socks, we used bamboo. This is because it's a sustainable, moisture absorbing, hollow fibre that keeps your feet warm in winter, cool in summer and dry all year round. What's more, it's super soft.

We designed the top cuff with a waffle knit to ensure our socks stay up as long as you need them to. Additionally, our socks contain 18% elastane and 2% polyamide (also known as nylon) - we think this is the perfect combination to create super soft and comfortable socks.

Why bamboo?

Bamboo's insulating properties keep feet warm during the colder winter months. It's perfect for keeping feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Aside from being super-soft and moisture-absorbent, bamboo is also an exceptionally environmentally friendly crop, which is why we chose to use it to make our socks.

Bamboo is one of the world's most sustainable plants, requiring very little water and having a much smaller footprint than traditional alternatives like cotton. Furthermore, bamboo absorbs about five times as much carbon dioxide as hardwood trees. The bamboo viscose is 100% biodegradable and does not require any chemicals to grow.

What is the process of making bamboo socks?

Unprocessed bamboo canes are turned into lovely soft yarn by an enzyme wash, which breaks the bamboo down into cellulose. The exact process is used to convert wood or cotton into cellulose. With a closed-loop system, minor damage is done to the environment.

What is the durability of Panda bamboo socks?

In contrast to other bamboo socks, Panda Bamboo socks are made to last. The bamboo socks feature reinforced heels and toes and are soft and comfortable to wear.

Care Instructions?

Best to use a washing machine rather than dry cleaning your Panda Bamboo Socks. Wash in the cold to warm water (up to 40 degrees Celsius). Bamboo fabrics are delicate, will maintain their special qualities in this setting when cleaned with a gentle detergent.

Fabric softener is unnecessary.

Do not use bleaching agents

Optional to use the press fastener. To wash and dry in pairs. Washing machine tested; it will not get stuck or damage your machine.

What is the story of the panda bamboo socks?

We have worked with bamboo cotton since 2019. With the easy-grip baby cutlery set that includes a bamboo bib, we felt that we had gained enough knowledge of bamboo textiles to design a luxurious bamboo sock that is in keeping with our brand. The panda bamboo socks were born in 2022 after six months of development.

The packaging acts as a wrapping, offering a double-sided label space for a message, which removes the need for gift wrap.
