What is included in the set?

The package includes one straw bag and four assorted in size straws. The straws also has a corresponding cleaning brush made from the sisal plant. There is space in the straw bag for more straws.

What is the dimensions and weight?

The straw bag is 21 cm long and 6 cm in width, and the four bamboo straws are in different sizes. As show below:

How long will bamboo straws last?

The eco-friendly straws set is made of bamboo, guaranteeing high strength and can last for years with little or no degradation. 

Are the straws organic?

Yes, the straws is made of raw bamboo.There are no sealants or glues. It will not contaminate drinks nor harm the environment once it has been disposed of.

Are they safe for children's use?

Yes, the straws are as safe for children as any other straws. If your child knows how to drink from a straw, they will have no problem using bamboo straws.

Can I use bamboo straws with all types of drinks?

Yes, you can use your bamboo straws with most drinks, hot or cold.

How do they feel or taste ?

The natural bamboo straws is sanded down and varnished with vegetable oil. Therefore, it is smooth to the touch and splinter-free.

Bamboo has no aftertaste and doesn't affect the taste of the drinks.

How do I take care of bamboo straws?

It is best to wash the reusable straws before using them for the first time.

Use the sisal cleaning brush to clean the straws thoroughly. Clean the inside of the straws with warm, slightly soapy water and let them dry. 

Bamboo straws are dishwasher safe.

Care - Like other wood products in your kitchen, bamboo needs to be oiled periodically with olive oil or food-grade mineral oil. Food-grade mineral oil is available in most grocery stores. Just use a soft cloth to wipe your utensils with the oil. 

The straws don't usually stain. If this happens, remove it by mixing water with vinegar. ( solution: Mix one spoon of water with one spoon of vinegar.)

To prolong your bamboo straw's life, avoid submerging it in water for an extended period and store in a dry, well-ventilated place. 

What is the straw bag made of?

We use 40% hemp, and 60% cotton. Hemp is far more sustainable than cotton, but you get a softer and more flexible material that extends the straw bag life by combining the two.

Are they compostable?

Yes, straw and straw bag are compostable. The straw brush is recyclable.
