Bamboo is considered a pest in the UK and Europe. We make all our bamboo products through a family business in Vietnam that has extensive experience in traditional bamboo product manufacturing.
Import to the UK We use sea freight to import all of our products to the UK. "A Defra study concludes that 2 tonnes of freight carried for 5,000km by a small container ship creates 150kg of CO2e (a measure of relative global warming potential) compared to 6,605kg of CO2e if the freight is carried by plane for the same distance. A clear difference."
Products are assembled and tested in the UK up on arrival by stay-at-home parents, OAP’s, before they get sent out to you.
