Is the cutlery organic?

Yes, the cutlery is made of organic bamboo. Additionally, My Little Panda Bamboo cutlery is made from a single bamboo. There are no sealants or glues. It will not contaminate food nor harm the environment once it has been disposed of.

 

Are they safe for children’s use?

Yes, the cutlery is as safe for children to use as any other cutlery. If your child knows how to eat with cutlery, they will have no problem using bamboo cutlery.

Can I use bamboo cutlery with all types of food?

Yes, you can use your bamboo cutlery with most food.

Knife: is sharp enough to cut cooked vegetables, meat or most other food.

Spoon: It is the same size as a regular tablespoon.

Fork: is sharp enough to spear cooked vegetables, meat and other food.

Do they feel or taste like wooden cutlery?

The bamboo cutlery is sanded down and varnished with vegetable oil. Therefore, it is smooth to the touch and splinter-free.

Bamboo has no wooden aftertaste and doesn't affect the taste of the food, unlike wooden cutlery that can leave a bad taste in your mouth when consuming food.

How do I take care of bamboo cutlery?

Bamboo cutlery can be cleaned with hot, soapy water like metal cutlery.

The natural way to clean cutlery is with vinegar. Add three tablespoons to one cup of water and wipe it off with a cloth afterwards. If a food odour persists, rub it down with a piece of lemon.

Bamboo cutlery is dishwasher safe.

To prolong your bamboo cutlery's life, avoid submerging it in water for an extended period.

We use 20% hemp, and 80% recycled cotton.

Are they compostable?

Yes, the cutlery is compostable. The pouch is recyclable.
