Shaving is a massive contributor to this with disposable razors taking hundreds of years to break down, whilst even reusable options see you throwing away plastic encased blades on a regular basis. We wanted to take a different approach and provide something stylish but more environmentally conscious.

The classic safety razor has been designed by UK students. We accept designs from UK-based students that are studying Product and Industrial Design. Most of our products are bamboo-based and it is vital that all of our products are produced in an ethical and sustainable way.
Assembled in the UK to make sure that all of our products adhere to British manufacturing and production standards.

We want the environmental footprint of our business to be as minimal as possible. Our items are shipped to us from our manufacturers via sea freight, producing 80% less carbon than air delivery and stored in our London facility.

I purchased this razor because I was tired of spending a fortune on overpriced plastic razors that promised a closer shave with multiple blades but often failed to deliver. I'm happy to report that this razor has provided me with a clean and close shave that meets my expectations.
Unfortunately, it didn't take too kindly to being dropped on the floor and ended up breaking. However, I was so satisfied with the razor's performance that I decided to buy another one. I also have to admit that it looks pretty cool too.

I absolutely love this razor! It not only looks great, but it also has a lovely weight to it. Cleaning it is a breeze, and the quality feels top-notch - it's definitely made to last. Plus, the best part is that it's entirely plastic-free, which is a huge plus in my book.
My only disappointment is that the razor blades aren't sold on Amazon as well. But, I understand that this isn't really something that the company can control.
Unfortunately, after a while, some of the coating on the top part of the blade holder started to come off. Although it doesn't affect the use of the razor, I was a bit disappointed as I initially bought this razor for its looks and overall quality. As a result, I had to take a star off my review. Nonetheless, I still think it's an excellent razor overall.

I use Derby blades with this razor, but you can use any other blades that you prefer. With this razor, you can get a clean, burn-free, and bump-free shave every time, without any ingrown hairs or scabs. Trust me, it's worth it to make the switch to a safety razor.

While this razor may not have been designed for shaving heads, I still use it for that purpose. I have noticed that it's not quite as effective as the disposable razors I used to use. However, the reason I switched to this razor was to reduce the amount of plastic waste I was generating, and on that account, it has served its purpose. Even though it may not provide the same results as my old razors, I'm happy to use it knowing that it's better for the environment

This razor has a nice appearance and feels well balanced in weight. In my efforts to reduce plastic waste, I switched from my trusty Gillette Venus to this safety razor. However, as someone with sensitive skin, I experience a shaving rash after use and I have nicked myself a few times. But I'm optimistic that with more practice, I'll get better at using it and the results will improve. Despite these challenges, I'm persevering with this eco-friendly option.

I'm not sure why I ever used plastic disposable razors. This safety razor provides a much closer and smoother shave and looks great. Plus, it's eco-friendly with no plastic waste and saves money in the long run. While you do need to be a little more careful while shaving compared to disposable razors, I haven't even nicked myself since the second use. It's time to ditch the plastic and switch to this sustainable alternative!

I recently purchased this razor after hesitating for a while about buying a double-edged one. I couldn't find a single-edged razor that suited my needs, so I decided to go for this one, and I'm so glad I did!
Having used a straight edge razor for years, I found the learning curve for this one to be pretty simple. However, I still had to be careful. The razor is easy to hold, has a good weight to it, and doesn't slip even when my hands are wet. After just a few days of using it, I got an excellent shave, and it looks great too!
Considering the price, I don't think you can get anything better than this.
