Supporting Frontline Workers Through Sales

Whilst our NHS is doing its utmost in this time to keep us all safe and well, many people and organisations (My Little Panda included) are donating what they can to nurses, doctors and other frontline workers. However, if you can’t donate financially, or with items, we’d like you to encourage you supporting these key workers in other ways.

"On behalf of the staff and volunteers at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, I would like to sincerely thank you and your team at My Little Panda for your incredibly kind donation."

Donating CutleryIn times like these, where hygiene is a priority, it turns out our bamboo lunch sets are ideal for key workers who are eating on the go or at work and want to avoid communal cutlery. Their lightweight nature makes them ideal as a portable lunch option and, realising this, we’ve been donating a set to NHS workers for every 10 we sell.

A Letter of Thanks We’ve received much interest, and subsequent thanks, from NHS workers, as we’ve sent products out to them, with folks showing off their new bamboo lunch sets on Instagram, Facebook and other social media. One amazing response we received was a letter of thanks from the Sussex Community Foundation Trust which you can see below.

How You Can Help Whilst many people are donating money or Personal Protective Equipment to the NHS, many can’t do this but still want to help make a difference. We suggest helping simply by showing your support to those workers keeping the country running. Donate by saying 'Hello, how is your day?" and share a smile to an NHS worker when you see them at the supermarket, or while out and about. It’s the best donation you could ever give.

Staying Safe and Positive In these troubling times, it is vital to stay safe and avoid returning to work if you can. Protect yourselves and the NHS by keeping alert and maintaining social distancing. Staying positive is also key, and staying in contact with friends and family is very important to make sure they are doing well and to keep your and their mental health up.

“Our teams of staff and volunteers are working really hard to deliver excellent care to patients across Sussex, and your kind thought for NHS staff means so very much. The lunch sets will be used as prizes for the Trusts International Nurses Day quiz"

How To Get Your Free Lunch Set If you are an NHS worker, you can get in touch via paris@mylittlepanda.co.uk to request a set. You'll need to send us a picture of your NHS I.D, and when you receive your set, we'd kindly ask you to send us a picture of you, in your uniform, holding the set. We receive a high number of e-mails and therefore the response time may be delayed -(promo finish on the 12th of May- Keep an eye for our next promo week on June 2020)
