Why We Back The Wave Project

We spend a lot of time on this blog lamenting the amount of plastic in our oceans and explaining how a switch to can aid in fighting this. This is because we recognise that our oceans are precious, and one charity that knows the power of the water is The Wave Project.

"The Wave Project is a surf therapy charity aimed at improving children's emotional and physical health through physical activity and interaction with nature."

What The Wave Project The Wave Project is a surf therapy charity aimed at improving children's emotional and physical health through physical activity and interaction with nature. They also educate people about the sea and our impact on it, and this is truly something My Little Panda can get behind.

Ecological Education Ecological education is essential for all of us to better understand our planet and the effect we are having on it, and we've previously had a blog post from the Head of Fundraising for the project that talks about exactly that. With The Wave Project being big on keeping our oceans clean, they are a natural fit of partners for us.

Help Make a Difference With another big fundraising year ahead of them, we recently donated to The Wave Project's blog post from the Head of Fundraising for the project that talks about exactly that.

Surfviving The Winter Surfviving The Winter' campaign in order to help even more children make the most of British waters. We urge all of you to do the same and help back this brilliant charity that operates across the UK by donating at their just giving page

Charity Causes My Little Panda has an ideology based around the ethics of support and encouragement for4 helping better the planet, whether that be through conscious consumerism or the support of local charities. As such, this isn't our first foray into philanthropy and we are friends with the London branch of the Wave Project.

Commitment To The Oceans As a business, we have a long-standing commitment to the oceans, trying to reduce plastic pollution in them and helping educate people about this important natural resource. With their education on all things aquatic, they were a natural fit for us and this isn't the first time we've supported them.

Lend Your SupportBeing long time friends of the project, we provide both financial backing and moral support and we urge you to do what you can to get involved with the project. Check them out at https://www.waveproject.co.uk/ and give via their fundraisers at https://www.justgiving.com/wave-project
